Privacy policy

You don't need an account to use Month 13 Mobile, and nothing here asks for your name, phone number or carrier account. This page lists what is recorded when you visit and who else sees it.

Google Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits: which pages are read, roughly where readers are (country and region, not street address), what device and browser they use, and which site sent them. It sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell a returning visitor from a new one. Google processes this data under its privacy policy; see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

When you click a link to a carrier, Analytics also records that click: which carrier, which page it was on, and the link's text. That tells us which pages are useful. It does not tell us whether you signed up.

To opt out everywhere, install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies or using a content blocker also works; every page and calculator on this site works without Analytics.

Links to carriers

Links to carrier sites go through /go/<carrier>, which redirects you to the carrier. The redirect writes a short server log line with the carrier, the page you came from, and the first part of your browser's user-agent string. The hosting provider keeps its own request logs; see Hosting below.

When a carrier's affiliate program has approved this site, the redirect goes through that program's network (for example CJ Affiliate or Impact) before reaching the carrier. The network sets its own cookie so the carrier can credit this site if you sign up, and it passes along the name of the page you came from. It does not receive anything that identifies you from this site. Those networks' own privacy policies cover what they collect. Each page says at the top whether any of its links pay a commission.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and block attacks; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when it serves them.

Ads

The site does not show ads. If that changes, this page will name the ad provider and its cookies before the first ad appears.

Email

If you email a correction or question, the message is stored so it can be answered and, for corrections, so the fix can be recorded. The public corrections log names the source that settled a correction, not the person who reported it, unless you ask to be credited.

Your choices

• Block or delete cookies in your browser; the site keeps working.
• Use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on linked above.
• Ask what data is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by email. Google keeps detailed Analytics data for at most 14 months, and we can't link it back to a name.

The site isn't aimed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.
