Visible after the promo: new monthly members keep $5 off for five years, and the $25 plan has no priority data

New members on Visible+ or Visible+ Pro, paying monthly, can take $5 off for five years with code 5OFF5: $30 instead of $35, $40 instead of $45. The base $25 plan has no discount, and the annual plans are at their regular $275, $375 and $450. If you joined with SAVE6, the code Visible offered in September, your discount lasts twelve months from the day you joined, then the regular price applies. What does Visible cost after the promo?

Whether monthly or annual is cheaper over one, two and three years is worked out on Visible monthly vs annual.

Monthly. Code 5OFF5 takes $5 a month off Visible+ and Visible+ Pro for five years, and Visible calls the saving guaranteed for that time. It’s a limited-time offer, it doesn’t apply to the annual plans, and the base Visible plan isn’t included. For a new member on Visible+ or Pro the price moves in month 61, not month 13.

Annual. No plan shows a first-year price:

If your price just went up. Visible changed its offers at the start of October 2026. In September it offered new members SAVE6, a monthly discount that lasted twelve months, so anyone who joined with it pays the regular $25, $35 or $45 from month 13. Visible+ Pro annual members who joined with the half-price SAVEHALF code renew at the regular $450, the same doubling Mint does, further up the price ladder.

Does the $25 Visible plan have priority data?

The base $25 Visible plan has no premium data at all.

Where other carriers state a priority allotment, Visible’s base plan states none. Mint’s Unlimited states 50 GB. Visible’s $25 plan gives zero, so you’re subject to slowdown whenever Verizon’s network is congested, from your first megabyte. (Several plans in the calculator don’t publish a figure either way, so this isn’t a claim about all of them.)

In practice this depends entirely on where and when you use your phone. A quiet suburb and a dense city at 6pm are different cases, and a plan page can’t tell you which you’ll get. It isn’t a hidden term, it’s in Visible’s own plan comparison, but “unlimited data on Verizon’s network for $25” and “unlimited deprioritized data on Verizon’s network for $25” are not the same product and only one of them fits in an ad.

Visible+ fixes it with unlimited premium data on 5G Ultra Wideband, at $35 a month, or $30 for five years with 5OFF5. That’s the plan most people comparing against Mint or US Mobile should actually be pricing.

What does Visible do well?

• Taxes are included. Visible’s $25 is $25. Mint’s and Tello’s prices are before tax, which makes Visible more competitive than a raw table suggests.
• It’s Verizon, run by Verizon. Not an MVNO renting access at arm’s length.
• Month to month. No prepaid block to forfeit, unlike Mint.
• Mexico and Canada are included on Visible+ and Visible+ Pro. On the base plan they’re a $5-a-day pass.
• Global Pass days are included on Visible+ and Pro. Monthly members bank up to 12 unused days; annual members get 12 or 24 days upfront.

That last one cuts against the obvious criticism: Visible’s per-day roaming is expensive at $10, but a member with included or banked days isn’t paying it. The roaming page has the detail.

Where can you go instead and keep Verizon’s network?

Every plan on Verizon’s network, ranked at the price after any intro ends, is on the Verizon network page. The short version:

Staying on Verizon’s network:

• Total Wireless is Verizon’s own prepaid brand. Bring-your-own-phone is $25/mo with AutoPay, taxes included, with a five-year guarantee on the rate before discounts (Total says it doesn’t cover the AutoPay discount). On that plan extra lines don’t get cheaper per line: two lines are $55 and four are $105, which is more than four Visible lines at $100. New customers are offered less for now: $30 for the first month, then $20 a month with AutoPay, and Total gives no end date for the $20.
• US Mobile on Warp is Verizon. Unlimited Starter is about $22.50/mo with taxes included, and the line can move to T-Mobile or AT&T later without changing carriers.

Leaving Verizon’s network entirely:

• Tello at $25/mo on T-Mobile, month to month, no intro price to expire, 50 GB at full speed.

What should you check before leaving Visible?

• Work out which plan you’re actually comparing. If the $25 base plan’s deprioritization has been bothering you, compare against Visible+ at $35, not against $25.
• If you joined with SAVE6, check where you are in its twelve months. The discount runs out on a date; know it before you renew.
• Count your banked Global Pass days. Leaving forfeits them, and on Visible+ Pro that could be a dozen days of international service.
• Taxes. Visible includes them, and so do Total Wireless and US Mobile. Tello and Mint don’t, so compare those on an after-tax basis.
